Singing bowls are a beautiful and powerful mystery. They produce the sound of AUM, which is the sound of energy becoming matter. They alter space, mind and time.  The sound and vibration of the bowls awakens cellular memory and heals the energy body.  Playing the blowls usually causes the ability to ground and center oneself.  The tones set up a harmonic resonance which allows a balancing left/right brain synchronization to occur.

Singing bowls produce sounds that invoke deep states of relaxation, naturally assisting one in entering states of consciousness and meditation . . . the ultimate goal being healing and enlightenment.  In the end, each experience with the sound of the bowls is that of communication between oneself and the inner world that often opens us to the universe.  This leads to the Buddhist teaching of Voidness - that nothing can exist independently of anything else.

Workshop Overview

Vibrational medicine, also called sound therapy or sound healing, is a powerful tool.  Over the course of the workshops, we will guide you in understanding and experiencing how the tone and vibration of these bowls can assist in your personal healing, as well as the healing of others.   Through the use of experiential, hands-on healing exercises and lectures we will invite you to explore your inner healer using sound.

These workshops offer a unique and loving environment of support and encouragement, providing each participant the opportunity to explore, grow and witness one another.   In supporting this philosophy, it is helpful if each student has some awareness of the basic Chakra System and Auric Field.

Each class is unique in its own way.  The overall pace and depth of each workshop is set by the group's energy and vibration.  This class is an invitation to experiment with singing bowls; to see how you respond together, grow together and change.  Remembering that no two moments are ever the same and this is the only moment that matters right now.
